Michael Douglas, who has been accused of cheating, may not be getting a divorce after all. Rumors claim that the Hollywood legend is getting back together with estranged wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Fox News is reporting that Michael and Catherine aren’t as bad off as we imagined. Of course, they’re still not in the clear, as the news source describes to their viewers:
“The pair, who admitted they went through a rough patch this summer, were spotted ‘laughing and enjoying each other’s company’ at lunch this past weekend at Ocean Grill on the Upper West Side in Manhattan. Spies tells the New York Post the couple, who separated in August after 13 years of marriage, were with their daughter, Carys, 10. Witnesses said they were ‘really focused on her’ during the meal but were also ‘laughing together.’”
This isn’t the first we’ve seen about Douglas and Zeta-Jones reuniting. In a recent edition of Sunday People, the publication claims that Michael comes over in the morning and prepares breakfast for the family, despite still living separately:
''When he's in New York, he makes the kids breakfast and comes back in the evening to watch TV with them before bedtime...Then he gets his marching orders from his wife and returns to sleep at his own place in Manhattan...He so desperately wants to be back as part of the family's life. Catherine thinks it's really touching he's being so hands-on with the kids--and he's praying it's the key back into her heart.''
This comes after months of claims that Michael may have cheated on his gorgeous wife. Star even published photos of Michael with a much younger woman, who many thought was Catherine, as one source reveals:
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be champing at the bit to play the field again.”
