American Horror Story is gearing up for the final four episodes of the third season, and fans of the series are still wondering if they will see Murder House and Asylum vets, Dylan Mcdermott and Zachary Quinto join the Coven.
American Horror Story: Coven returns next week, January 7, with the tenth episode of the third season. The new episode, titled "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks," is rumored to have an appearance from the White Witch, herself. However, it's the men of American Horror Story that many are hoping to see.
So far, this season has been a big one for the women of American Horror Story. The show has been going strong with a cast of beautiful and dangerous female leads, including Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson, just to name a few. Seriously, this show is jam packed with top notch female talent, however, the men of the series, Even Peters and True Blood’s Denis O'Hare, have been under-used for most of the season. Both characters have been cast in roles that have very little speaking.
Then again, there are also two other American Horror Story veterans that fans haven’t heard from at all. Dylan Mcdermott and Zachary Quinto have been missing this entire season. However, the season isn’t over and, with the door being open to bring in a host of new male characters, ( see spoilers below) we might still see the boys come back.
Mcdermott recently spoke with TV Line about a possible appearance on the series:
“I start a movie called Survivor in January, with Milla Jovovich, Pierce Brosnan, Emma Thompson and Angela Bassett. But Ryan [Murphy] wants me to come back, and I want to come back. So we just have to figure out the scheduling. To me, [doing American Horror Story] is always like going home.”
Zachary Quinto is busy with The Glass Menagerie on Broadway but is open to a cameo on the show.

In the most recent episode, we saw Josh Hamilton’s character, Hank Foxx, die while attacking the Voodoo Queen. This will not go over well with Foxx’s father, who is the head of a group of which hunters. Could we see Mcdermott and Quinto come in as reinforcement hunters?
