A&E ‘Duck Dynasty’ Offensive GQ Phil Robertson Comments Girls Age 15, 16 Need to Be Married

To say Phil Robertson has expressed some quirky views over the past few weeks, would definitely be under selling it. The patriarch of Duck Dynasty on A&E started things off about a month ago when he mentioned some of his views to GQ about gay men that most people found offensive and irresponsible. If you thought that he was going to leave straight people out, than he has a surprise for you. There is something in his big bag of bigotry for everyone the year. According to Robertson, girls need to be married by the age of 15 or 16, and no later.

The video of the master duck caller dispensing what he calls “river rat counseling” to young men and, presumably, young women.

In the video, Phil wraps up a speaking engagement by warning men, that if they want obedient women, they have to marry them while the girls are young (via CNN):

"They got to where they're getting hard to find, mainly because these boys are waiting 'til they get to be about 20 years old before they marry 'em. Look, you wait 'til they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that's going to take place is your pocket. You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16. They'll pick your ducks."

When he isn’t disparaging an entire gender, he is ruining lives one by one.

A college student living in West Monroe, LA, wrote about the unsafe environment that Robertson had created in the area, in an essay posted by Times-Picuyne columnist Robert Mann (via The Daily Mail):

"He encouraged--hopefully unintentionally--a two-week-long "fag bashing" in Monroe and around the world. He made me feel unsafe in my own home. I can't count how many times I heard "faggot" over the Christmas visit home."

Hey Phil, isn’t it the ducks that you’re suppose to be giving hell?
