American Idol Carrie Underwood may have had a hit with her live musical, but her married life is allegedly falling apart. The country music star has had a charmed career since winning America’s vote on Idol back in 2005, but she hasn’t had such success in her personal life. Her husband Mike Fisher is reportedly looking for a divorce after being neglected, while the star prepared for The Sound of Music. Perhaps that is why she is spending so much time with Brad Paisley, further fueling cheating rumors.
Underwood and Paisley had a chemistry that couldn’t be denied when the pair hosted the 47th Annual Country Music Association Awards earlier this year.
A source told the National Inquirer, that the two have been spending an awful lot of time together:
“In recent months, as she’s faced one marital crisis after another, it seems like Carrie is leaning on Brad more than ever. They text and email each other constantly, and Carrie confides in Brad about all the problems she and Mike are having.”
It isn’t like she is spending her time talking to her own husband:
“Between his schedule with the Nashville Predators and her rehearsals, they barely saw each other the last three months. When they did steal some alone time, Carrie was wiped out physically and emotionally. The ordeal left Mike feeling neglected and ignored...Mike is fuming. Carrie is thrilled about all the opportunities, but she’s very conflicted and confused. She and mike are barely speaking.”
