Teen Mom 2 reality star Kailyn Lowry has been busy this past year. She gave birth to a new baby boy, Lincoln Marshall, wrote a memoir about her life as a teen mom and is now planning a reunion with her estranged mother for Season 4 of the show.
Kailyn gave birth to her new son and named him after A+ role model, Eminem, whose legal name is Marshall Mathers.
This child is the first with her husband Javi Marroquin. The young father was elated beyond words at the birth of his son.
A friend of the couple told OK! Magazine about the boy’s mood upon first holding his son:
"[Javi] felt like he wanted to cry, because he was trying to take it all in...They bonded right from the start.”
Now, Kailyn is working on growing her family in a different way.
She has announced that the show will feature a reunion between her and her estranged mother. Kailyn and her mother have spoken over the phone recently, and began to make plans to mend their fractured relationship.
It’s allegedly all just a clever ruse though, and the two are never going to reunite. A friend of the teen mom gave the inside scoop to OK! Magazine:
“She called Kailyn while sober once, so Kailyn gave her a chance. But then the mom and her boyfriend got messed up, and called kailyn and her husband Javi, talking all kinds of stuff. he called Javi a jerkoff! kailyn won’t let her mom into her kid’s life until she’s sober.”
That sounds pretty reasonable for someone who named their kid after Slim Shady.
