A&E ‘Duck Dynasty’ Family Feud Following Homophobic Phil Robertson Interview 'GQ' Article

When Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson voiced his homophobic views in his GQ interview, he didn’t speak for A&E. Apparently, he didn’t speak for all his sons either. The article has sparked a family feud concerning the future direction of the family and the show.

The 67-year-old Robertson seemed to slip into senility during his very odd and misguided ramblings in a recent interview with GQ. The reality star babbled about all sorts of salt of the earth nonsense intermingled with offensive hate speech:

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men. Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers--they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right...It seems like, to me, a vagina--as a man--would be more desirable than a man's anus. That's just me. I'm just thinking...But hey, sin: It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical.”

The family, at first, released a statement showing solidarity. Now, it seems that the might agree on some points more than others.

CEO Willie envisions himself the empire builder, and he isn’t ready to let his kingdom go just yet. A source close to the family opened up to In Touch about Willie’s growing ambitions in the face of the scandal:

“He has to think about capitalizing on the attention and using it to their advantage. He’s hoping to keep the cast intact for as long as possible.”

The rest of the cast is ready to move on to other more celestial centered projects. The same source relays to In Touch just how over the show they already are:

“Jase and his dad were very ready to leave the show and move on to other projects more focused on ministry before all this. Their hearts just aren’t in it anymore."

Our heart’s aren’t into much anymore, either.
