For months now, it has been rumored that Sam and Cat star Jennette McCurdy had a secret boyfriend. Now she is talking about her clandestine relationship in her weekly column for Seventeen. She opened up about her disdain for dating and her desire to have babies.
Jennette McCurdy is one of the most popular stars out today. The actress/singer is the star of one the hottest new shows on TV, but even she has trouble with dating.
Over at her new job, Jennette wrote about one of her recent dating disappointments, telling readers of her Seventeen column:
"I hate dating. I don’t hate meeting cool people, going fun places, and getting free meals. That’s all great! I just hate the process of getting all gussied up to meet someone you either don’t like that much or like too much. I hate wondering what to wear, worrying about how I chew, and trying to look pretty.
"Granted, I feel self-assured enough that, most of the time, I don’t try too hard for dates – I figure if it’s the right guy, he’ll like the real me. Dating is not as complicated and pressured as we girls can seem to make it. It’s simply two people seeing if they ‘fit.’ However, even with this logic set in place, I can’t help myself sometimes.”
McCurdy went on to say that she fell really hard a boy recently. She was even daydreaming about having children with him.
She went on to add that she tried to play hard to get with him. However, it ultimately lead to her not getting a call back.
