When it comes to celebrities getting engaged, rumors always abound. In this edition, we will take a look at whether or not Katy Perry will be planning a John Mayer wedding, Mila Kunis' alleged engagement ring and claims that Jennifer Lawrence has a fiancé.
Lately there has been significant chatter about Katy Perry marrying boyfriend John Mayer.
Unfortunately, not everyone thinks that would be a great idea. Christina Pesoli, of Huffington Post, seems to think that an engagement is likely, however ill-advised:
"...it doesn't appear that Perry and Mayer are mining their past missteps for whatever educational gold they might contain. Last time around Perry picked a dud and then rushed to the altar with him. This time around, Perry seems to have picked another guy cut from the same cloth, and now this relationship seems to be on a fast-track, too."
When it comes to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, it appears that an engagement is almost destined.
Our friends at Latin Post explain the newest rumors, which claim that Ashton is getting the actress a $5 million engagement ring:
"According to The Irish Independent Woman, Kutcher is keeping it all in the family by commissioning a jewelry company that Mila is a spokeswoman for to create the multi-million dollar ring. 'He's asked designer Arpita Navlakha to create an 18-carat gold ring set among 25 rose-cut pink diamonds,' said the paper."
Jennifer Lawrence is also rumored to be engaged to super hot BF Nicholas Hoult. According to a source who spoke with OK! Magazine, the two will soon be married, however, don't expect your typical Hollywood Wedding:
"I don't think there's going to be any big announcement. They just want to slip away and get married in quiet. They'd much rather run off somewhere and marry quietly and then have a family get-together, one in Kentucky [Jennifer's home state] and the other in London [Nicholas' home turf]. Having a lavish Hollywood wedding is the last thing they want. Jen says planning it all and working out a guest list would drive her crazy. It would be so stressful deciding who to invite, so as not to offend anyone in Hollywood."
