'Homeland' Claire Danes Crazy On Set, Rupert Friend Replaces Paul Walker After Autopsy Rumors?

Claire Danes might have more in common with her Homeland character Carrie Mathison, than you think. It isn’t clear if it's a form of onset method acting, but the actress reportedly has her own little crazy room to go mental in, while filming the Showtime drama. Co-star Rupert Friend, who plays CIA assassin Peter Quinn, is replacing Paul Walker in Agent 47, following new autopsy revelations.

34-year-old actress Claire Danes can be quite the handful on set, according to recent Hollywood rumors.

The once upon a time Juliet has her very own room, when filming Homeland, where she goes to rant and rave like a looney tune.

An on-set insider told Star that she can be a little tough to work with at times:

“She’s very emotional and can be incredibly difficult. If she’s stressed she goes into her ‘howling room’ and screams. This are strained; she’s been terse with Damian Lewis when he tried to joke around. she’s considered a huge pain.”

While Danes might be a bit rough around the edges, co-star Rupert Friend is trying to round out his repertoire by replacing Paul Walker in new movie Agent 47, a remake of the 2007 film Hitman, starring Timothy Olyphant as a wanted international hitman.

Believe it or not, without Rupert Friend’s coming on board, it is likely that the movie would have been made, following Walker’s demise, or at least that is what Variety is saying:

“Fox International and Square Enix were the driving forces in getting the film up and running. Walker’s commitment was a major part of the film getting a greenlight, and after the actor died it looked as if this film would not be able to move forward, since the production start date was set for February and there was no major star involved.”

Though the news is rather recent, it was likely that the deal was worked out a little while ago, while the studio waited for the full results of Walker's autopsy to first be released.

The autopsy showed that, though Walker didn’t survive long following the physical trauma of the crash, he was not killed by the immediate impact (via NY Daily Times):

“Walker sustained jaw, collar bone, rib and pelvic fractures and had ‘scant soot’ in his trachea, suggesting he at least partially inhaled some of the smoke.”

There is still no word as to who is set to stand in for Walker, so the latest Fast franchise movie can be released.
