Season 18 Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis' 2014 New Year's resolution must have been to spice things up. The Venezuelan entertainment consultant is making so many hard and fast rule changes in the way he plays the game of love, that the crazy contestants are left romantically confused and emotionally broken
Not only has Juan Pablo been stirring things up in the real world with his gay bashing, he also likes turning the Bachelor world on its ear.
After making out with several girls already, Juan Pablo decided to leave Lauren S. in a pool of her own tears, after shutting down her attempt at an intimate kiss.
The former soccer player explained himself by explaining that he felt he had been too "romantic" in earlier episodes.
Host Chris Harrison seemed almost upset with Juan Pablo for being wishy-washy, when he recounted the event to MSN:
"Honestly, he sends mixed messages to the girls and they find it very confusing. This isn't a language barrier; this is a Juan Pablo barrier. He does things like this throughout the season that really make you scratch your head. It's like, 'You're going to make a stand now?' It's closing the barn door after the horses are already out. Why now, after making out with the others, do you decide it's enough? So he's changing the rules in the middle of the game. But this won't be the last time Juan Pablo reinvents his rules and the women will be left scratching their heads wondering where they stand. There's a situation that's going to arise [next episode] that will epitomize this."
Yeah Juan Pablo, if you're going to be a slut, then be consistent. Nobody likes a tease.
