UPDATE: Big Ears Fest 2014 Announces Daily Lineups and Daily Ticket Sales for this Week

By Ian Holubiak i.holubiak@classicalite.com on Jan 29, 2014 08:39 PM EST

Earlier this month, Classicalite updated readers on the Big Ears Festival. The line-up had just been announced and now, Big Ears keeps us waiting just slightly longer.

The latest on Big Ears says that So Percussion will be added to the three-day line-up--yes, they will be on stage all three days of the festival, along with artist-in-residence and co-conspirator Steve Reich, Body/Head, Televsion and John Cale.

A venue, also, has been added: The Square Room, which should be wildly entertaining.

Now, Big Ears has released that tomorrow, Thursday, will serve as the announcement date for daily lineups and Friday for early ticket sales.

The $65 dollars for this festival may be too good to pass up.

If I were you, I would purchase a three-day pass to make sure I witnessed the full effect of So Percussion's three-day feature--they are a recurring favorite here on Classicalite.

And while we must wait for tomorrow to bear witness to the daily lineups, the Big Ears Festival is shaping up to be yet another important addition to the Spring catalog of festival outings.

Until then, take a gander at So Percussion and their innovative, ingenuous take on modern music.
