Kate Gosselin, who is admittedly broke, recently had a wave of bad press. Not only was there a disastrous TV interview featuring her twins, but now it has been revealed that ex-husband Jon wants custody. His latest statements follow Jon's own scandal, where he claimed that he was simply scratching himself on Couple's Therapy.
It's no surprise that the Gosselins have been having a rough go at. Nowhere was that more evident than on Kate Gosselin's recent appearance on The Today Show.
Kate brought along two of her 13-year-old twins, Mady and Cara. Despite being asked questions by host Savannah Guthrie, the girls were silent.
Their silence was awkward and embarrassed everyone, including their mother who scolded, "Mady, your words. It's your chance, spit it out."
Even Savannah Guthrie felt bad for the kids. She addressed the nightmare scenario on Watch What Happens Live, when she provided some insight of what happened:
"[The twins] came on and I thought the girls had something on their minds-they wanted to get it off their chests. So I was really surprised when they didn't say too much. But I kind of was sympathetic to them. It's not easy to get up on national television. This isn't something they do every day, live in the morning ... I felt bad for them."
Following her interview, Jon Gosselin surfaced long enough to chastise his wife and seek custody of their children. When speaking with In Touch, Jon told the publication:
"[The children] live in fear of Kate. Every time I see them, they tell me they want to live with me...Regardless of what the judge decides, I have to at least try. I just wish Kate would wake up, realize how she's behaving--and change her ways."
Of course, that's not all people are talking about when it comes to Jon.
On a recent episode of Couple's Therapy, his lady accused him of masturbating on TV. E! News broke down the disgusting situation:
"During the episode, Gosselin is seen shifting his body under the covers of the bed while he moans before his girlfriend Liz Jannetta walks in the room and assumes that her boyfriend had been masturbating in her absence."
