After rumors that sister Pippa Middleton may be engaged, it was revealed that Princess Kate and baby Prince George Alexander Louis will be headed on vacation with the rest of the Middleton clan. This follows news that the royal family is, in all actuality, going bankrupt.
Prince George and Duchess Catharine will soon be headed to the Caribbean, as Hello Magazine reports. Unfortunately, her husband, Prince William, won't be able to take part in the vacay fun:
"Kate Middleton has taken six-month-old Prince George on his first holiday abroad. The Duchess and baby George have joined the Middleton family on their annual trip to the Caribbean island of Mustique, while Prince William remains in the UK due to his agricultural studies at Cambridge...According to reports, three royal bodyguards accompanied Kate and George on a scheduled flight to the Caribbean, during which Britain's future king was said to have been very well behaved."
This latest luxury vacation comes after it was revealed that the Royal family's financial reserves have plummeted from $58 million to $1.6 million. Margaret Hodge, chair of the Public Accounts Committee, offers some help for the family:
"The household needs to get better at planning and managing its budgets for the longer term--and the Treasury should be more actively involved in reviewing what the household is doing."
It's not all bad news for Kate, however, as her sister and BFF, Pippa Middleton, could be engaged. According to one source who spoke with E! News, she's already accepted the proposal of boyfriend Nico Jackson:
"The sources claiming Pippa is already engaged are quite specific, saying Nico's proposal at Oberoi Amarvilas (the luxury getaway) 'was exactly how he planned it...Very romantic and grand!' They also report that the maybe-bride-to-be, 30, and her feasible fiancé, 36, plan to wed in 2014 at the Middleton family's Bucklebury estate."
