Season 13 'American Idol's' judges certainly lack the on-screen drama of last year's panel, but that isn't to say they all get along. According to Hollywood rumors, feuding Jennifer Lopez absolutely hates being around newcomer Harry Connick Jr. Some surmise it is because Lopez is jealous of the attention Harry is getting, though she would never admit it in public.
Everything seems to all honky dory between the judges of the year's American Idol, but behind the scenes Lopez lurks Medusa like ready to destroy any brave new soul that enter her lair, or so the rumor goes.
One person claiming to be an insider tells that Star that Lopez may appear to be all smiles, but when the cameras aren't on it's a different story:
"J-Lo thinks that Harry is one of the most childish frown men she has ever met. He doesn't take anything seriously and just won't stop his juvenile behavior. She thinks he's immature and lame, and she only talks to him if she has to."
Though it could be Harry's behavior that turns Lopez off, one source in Star feels that it is more likely she is just insanely jealous per her crazy usual:
"She demanded to be the only female judge on the show but had no idea how popular Harry would become. J-Lo may be great at masking her feelings on camera, but behind the scenes she is definitely still a diva."
Whether he is getting bad vibes from Lopez or not, Harry is loving his time on the show.
He told OK! that he is where he belongs, and despite what anyone else might think, he is taking the talent search very seriously:
"It feels normal for me to be there--it's not rocket science...I know it was 'off' last year, but it has to be about the contestants. We are serious about finding the best person."
