When it comes to celebrities being engaged, rumors are always flying. This is especially true for P-Diddy (formally Puff), acting legend Johnny Depp and Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence.
The entire world is abuzz about the rumored engagement of P Diddy and his girlfriend of many years, Cassie. The rumors got started from Diddy's own Instagram, when he posted a photo of a monstrous ring to Cassie. Attached was the text:
"Baby do you like it? I just want to get you wat you Like! I just wanna Mk you smile :)"
TMZ was among the first to comment on his post, and they just couldn't help but throw a jab at the music icon:
"File this under cheapest proposal ever--Diddy (who's worth a reported $580 million) may have popped the question to his longtime GF Cassie...on Instagram. Granted, the rock is roughly the size of Pluto...but rather than renting out a baseball stadium and proposing in front of an orchestra, Diddy posted a photo of the ring on Instagram for his 3.2 million followers."
Puffy isn't the only one in the news over engagement rumors. Shortly after it was announced that Johnny Depp would be marrying 27-year-old Amanda Heard, numerous tabloids were quick to suggest what they thought the wedding may look like.
Daily Star, a UK based property, claims to have spoken with a friend of the couple. According to their insider, the wedding will likely be a private affair (via International Business Times):
"They're having a small intimate ceremony barefoot on the beach in Little Hall's Pond Cay. Afterwards they'll have a barbecue where some of Johnny's musician pals are going to perform, followed by limbo dancing ... Neither Johnny nor Amber want a big, glitzy Hollywood bash. They are both very private."
Jennifer Lawrence also finds herself in the news, following reports that her super-hot bf proposed to her over the Christmas holiday. Of course, this isn't the first time the media has gotten it wrong about Jennifer.
Despite all of the chatter, it seems like these rumors are TOTALLY false.
