‘Fast and Furious 7’ Cast Update: New Trailer Debuts Paul Walker, Autopsy Alive After Crash Reveals, Kurt Russell Condones Steroids

While no one is quite sure just how Universal will complete Fast and Furious 7 without headliner Paul Walker, a new trailer for a movie he did finish, Brick Mansions, Walker's final film, debuted yesterday. Kurt Russell, who recently condoned the use of supervised steroid use in MLB, joins the Fast cast to help fill the void in the script left by Walker's demise. Paul's full autopsy revealed that he was alive, if not completely conscious, immediately following the tragic accident that claimed his life late last year.

Paul Walker completed several films before working on Fast 7, before he was killed, that had not been released at the time of his death.

Brick Mansions is the final of the aforementioned films, whose new trailer debuted on E!, and is scheduled for release for April 25 of this year.

The movie is the usual action adventure fare, according to Huffington Post, about a good guy that saves the entire world, or something like that:

"In the film, Walker plays Damien Collier, an undercover police officer charged with taking down a dangerous crime lord who plans to use a neutron bomb to devastate the city of Detroit."

No doubt, Universal is happy for any attention that draws the spotlight away from recent addition to the cast Kurt Russell's recent steroid comments to Variety (via Gotcha Movies):

"I think that baseball once again is doing something that is taking a line of thought that isn't entirely logical. I have a son who wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for the availability of steroids. I think it was [Jose] Canseco who needed steroids for his back because he had a back. You can't just say willy nilly steroids are a bad thing...if doctors are brought in the scene and it's controlled properly, who's to say over the next 10 years we wouldn't find the proper usage of it."

Fast and Furious 7 is still set to hit theaters spring of next year.
