Season 17 Bachelor Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Wedding Update: Admits Show Felt Wrong

It is hard for any person to deal with the sudden attention and pressure of being on a hit reality show like the Bachelor, but it was at times especially difficult for Season 17's Sean Lowe, who admits that he felt wrong and impious at times while on the show. He married his season winner Catherine Giudici in a live televised wedding, but it wasn't an easy ride for the "virgin bachelor."

When Sean Lowe was first approved by producer to be in The Bachelorette, Lowe admits in a video for I Am Second that he thought the show was out of sync with his moral code:

"I said, 'Listen, I have no desire to be on reality TV and I certainly don't want to subject myself to all the public criticism that comes along with being on a show like The Bachelorette.' Guys go on there, get drunk, and there's the fantasy suite and there's sex and nudity. It just didn't seem like something that represented me."

But Lowe lightened up and decided maybe he could go and enjoy himself without getting into trouble, which he did.

The only problem, Sean admitted in the video, was that Lowe was actually beginning to fall in love on the show:

"I'm actually developing feelings for this girl when there are all these cameras around. This is kinda nuts. I can see myself being her husband, and she had a young daughter and I thought 'Wow, God has used this reality TV show to introduce me to my wife and my future daughter.' And after about six weeks of being on the show, I knew that I loved her."

Thankfully for his new bride Catherine, things didn't work out for him on The Bachelorette, so Sean signed up for another shot at reality TV love.

But there were times, Sean goes on to admit, when Lowe wasn't sure if the lord was happy with the game show:

"It's unnatural to date 25 women at one time and it felt wrong a lot of the time. I wrestled with it quite a bit thinking, 'I'm pretty sure god opened this door but what if he didn't? ... What if people look at me and they say, 'This is what is wrong with Christianity?' That was a big fear."

If he didn't approve of the show, than no doubt god disliked Sean honeymoon boasts (via Us Weekly):

"The whole day capped off by the wedding night...Fantastic! Thank you for asking. I think we both performed extremely well. There was a parade that went through the room!"

Then again, what's the point of hitting a home run if you have to keep it a secret.
