Drake Bell might have fallen on hard times, but the same can not be said for his Drake and Josh co-star, Miranda Cosgrove. The iCarly and School of Rock actress is playing it smart by attending college. Cosgrove also has a new movie and TV series in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Victorious star, Victoria Justice has a new series on MTV. The actress is starring in the new R.L. Stine series, Eyecandy.
The girls of Nickelodeon are doing a lot better than the male alumni. Victorious star Victoria Justice is gearing up for a new album and TV. Justice, is making her return to the small screen in the MTV adaptation of R.L.Stines' Eye Candy. The series has been given a ten episode order.
Meanwhile, former Drake and Josh and iCarly star, Miranda Cosgrove is doing pretty well for her self. In addition to lending her voice to the Despicable Me movie series, Cosgrove is also helping secure her future by Majoring in film at the University of Southern California. Cosgrove recently told Access Hollywood Live about her life post iCarly:
“I’m taking a bunch of film classes And [I’m] watching a lot of movies and [taking] screenwriting classes.”
Cosgrove also a new movie in the works, tweeting:
“Filming a movie in Ontario! Driving in the snow to get a root beer float even though it’s 20 below 0. The heart wants what the heart wants.”
Cosgrove later tweeted about the film, adding:
“Filming outside all day today! -33 degrees! Wish me luck :/”
The starlet will also be returning to the small screen in NBC’s upcoming show Girlfriend In a Coma. The series, Cosgrove plays the daughter of a woman who went into a 17-year-long coma after she losing her virginity.
