Rumors are flying that Robin Thicke's cheating will lead to a divorce from estranged wife Paula Patton. New reports suggest that she is still angry over his VMA performance with Miley Cyrus.
After it was announced that Paula Patton would be divorcing her longtime husband, no one took the news harder than Robin Thicke, himself. When speaking to TMZ, the award-winning singer admitted that he was trying to win back Paula:
"Robin Thicke was shockingly candid as he arrived in Washington D.C. Thursday afternoon ... making it clear he's not throwing in the towel on his marriage, telling our photog, 'I'm just trying to get her back.'"
Sadly, it doesn't seem like Robin's attempts will prove successful. After all, this appears to be a long time coming.
Rumors have been flying that the couple were calling it quits since last summer. OK! was among the first to report about their marital woes back in September, when they quoted a source who revealed:
“Listen, [Robin] never wants to hurt Paula. They accept each other for who they both are. She knows she didn’t marry a saint, she didn’t marry a guy without a sex drive. She was well aware that she married the Casanova type but he loves her and treats her like a queen.”
The magazine goes on to imply that the couple may have a few non-traditional rules about their own marriage. According to the source:
“They addressed their issues long ago and just found what works for them and that’s what matters. It’s really no one else's business how they spend their time.”
