VIDEO: Canadian Baritone Gino Quilico, Son of Louis, Sings Jean Valjean's "Bring Him Home" (in French) from 'Les Miserables'

AND...one day I was sifting through stories and came across a reference to Gino Quilico, famous son of also-famous Canadian baritone Louis Quilico.

I wondered what had happened to him and within three clicks found myself on YouTube watching this.

Not many opera singers have braved the lead role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables (at one point Placido Domingo was planning to take it on, but to the best of my knowledge that never happened).

Quilico strides in and offers perhaps the best sung "Bring Him Home" (in French--this is after all from Canada) I have ever heard.

Wow.
