300 alum, Gerard Butler, who dumped his much younger model girlfriend in January, claims he has remained un-married because he hasn't found his perfect "princess." Butler claims the reason he won't be doing the unreasonable stunts for his up-and-coming Point Break remake, is he isn't insane.
Gerard Butler and 25-year-old Romanian model Mădălina Ghenea seemingly made quite the pair; at least Mădălina thought so before Butler booted her to the curb.
A friend of Gerard's told In Touch that it was Mădălina's fault for pushing a man like Butler to settle down in the first place:
"He broke up with Mădălina because she wanted him to take things to the next level, but Gerard just wouldn't commit...He's already moved on."
According to Butler, it isn't that he is unwilling to marry per se, he just has to find the perfect someone worth marrying (via Daily Mail):
"I have not met the one princess yet.
"That doesn't mean I have not met a lot of princesses along the way, but not the one and only yet.
"Or maybe I have and she might come back into my life at some point. You should never rule out anything. But am I seeing the one now? The answer, sadly, is no."
Right now Gerard is more focused on his career than his love life, especially his upcoming stunts for the new Point Break.
Butler admits that he is a fan of extreme sports, but he is going to be signing up for any of the insane stuff (via News.com.au):
"I don't know yet whether I will be jumping out of airplanes. I want to. I would love to.
"But BASE jumping, I don't think they will let me do. And squirrelling (landing from a wingsuit flight without deploying a parachute for the uninitiated)--that's probably a bit much.
"I am not even pretending that I will come close to any of those things, but you still have to be au fait with hanging off a mountain and hanging around big waves."
Wow...what a coward.
