Magic Mike 2 potential cast member Alex Pettyfer is reportedly following up his Endless Love remake release with a little love from none other than aging Hollywood starlet Demi Moore. Rumor has it the pair is dating. Renaissance man Channing Tatum and his production partner Reid Carolin are in talks with Warner Bros to direct a crime based thriller adapted from Norwegian novelist Jo Nesbø's book, The Son.
Magic Mike creator Channing Tatum and production partner Reid Carolin may be putting the sequel on hold for a minute to focus on an entirely new project.
According to The Wrap everything seems all but confirmed that Tatum and Reid will be handling the big-screen adaption almost entirely themselves:
"Channing Tatum is in talks to star in and co-direct Warner Bros.' adaptation of Jo Nesbø's crime novel The Son along with longtime collaborator Reid Carolin.
"Video recently surfaced of Tatum, Carolin and producer Kevin McCormick meeting with Nesbø in Norway to discuss the project.
"Nesbø is the bestselling author of the Harry Hole detective series, as well as Headhunters and Blood on Snow."
Magic Mike lead Alex Pettyfer is reportedly focused on more romantic pursuits following his Endless Love media blitz.
Rumor has it that Alex and Demi Moore are coupling, if not an official couple already.
An eyewitness told Popdust that the two were at the Fairfax club looking like they had done more than just met each other once before:
"It was like they were long lost lovers...Alex actually picked Demi up off the ground and swung her around, and then he kept both arms wrapped around her waist as they caught up.
"He looked her up and down for a second, but then it was right back to Demi-and, she was totally working it. She leaned on the table with her elbows and bent at the waist so her curves were on full display.
"And fair play to Demi, she looked absolutely stunning.
"There was major chemistry between them, they were flirting up a storm. And, it's got to be said, despite the age difference they make a really hot couple!"
