After months of rumors that claim Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes may breakup, MTV decided to remind fans of another of Gosling's former lovers. The popular channel re-released a video showing Ryan and Rachel McAdams kissing, back when they accepted an MTV movie award nearly ten years ago.
In less than a month, MTV will be hosting their annual MTV Movie Awards. In preparation for the upcoming ceremony, the music channel has been putting together the best clips from years past.
And what does MTV consider to be their best moment? Interestingly enough, they chose the time Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams made out on stage, as MTV reports:
"There is only one memory that will forever tug on our heartstrings, and that is the moment in 2005 when Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams won Best Kiss and sealed their win with, well, just about one of the sexiest kisses of all time."
It's no surprise that MTV is trying to capitalize on the buzz surrounding Ryan's relationship these days. A recent edition of Star even suggested that Ryan was getting back with Rachel, quoting a source who revealed:
"Rachel is pushing hard to get him back, and he's becoming more and more receptive to her. They talk and message each other all the time."
That isn't the only report to suggest that Ryan and current GF Eva Mendes could be considering a split. Last week's OK! claims that Ryan wasn't moving fast enough for Eva, as they quote an insider as saying:
"For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
