Cast member Julie Bowen claims that she has learned a lot about her own parenting future by raising Sarah Hyland and Ariel Winter on the show. In review, further proof that actors and their audiences have a hard time distinguishing TV from their actual realities.
Believe it or not you too can raise your children in Modern Family's Dunphy house for just only $2.35 million; the house used for all the exterior shot's has reportedly gone on sale, with the ABC deal possibly included.
According to SF Gate, the swanky home comes with a sweet kitchen and an even sweeter potential network deal:
"If you want to be a part of ABC's Modern Family, now's your chance. The Dunphy home featured on the acclaimed sitcom has hit the market in Los Angeles.
"The property includes 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 2,792 square feet, and features a gourmet kitchen with Viking range, mahogany hardwood floors, fireplace, balconies, and beautiful landscaping. It's listed for $2.35 million.
"Note that the current homeowner gets paid by ABC each time his home is filmed, and the new buyer has the option to maintain the same deal."
44-year-old actress Julie Brown has apparently been taking note of her Modern Family motherhood experience and told News.com.au that couldn't wait to apply those lesson to her real life:
"My 'fake' [on-screen] children have given me a tiny preview of my future because they're teenagers.
"Sarah [Hyland]has always been an adult...She's so tiny we forget...She stayed the same size, as everyone around her has got so much bigger.
"Ariel [Winter] is the closest thing I will ever have to a real teenage daughter and it is a mind-blower...She is like a sister, a daughter.
"I don't know if [Nolan Gould] adores me, but I adore him and we have so much fun together.
"I just can't get enough of all my fake kids."
That would be seriously creepy, if it wasn't so sweet.
