‘Magic Mike 2’ Cast News: Channing Tatum Bucket-List Kiss; Alex Pettyfer Takes Gay Lee Daniels’ Role

Channing Tatum is in the news for fulfilling one girl's top bucket list wish. The star balked short of actually kissing terminally ill teen-ager Alisa Finley, but he did send her a video sending her his love and best wishes. Fellow Magic Mike 2 cast member Alex Pettyfer has reportedly signed on to play the first openly gay action hero in Lee Daniels' next near-Oscar winning film.

Channing Tatum and Alex Pettyfer are both bust making films while Tatum works out the next Magic Mike screenplay.

Channing Tatum took a break from his busy schedule to help 18-year-old high school student Alisa Finley, who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, scratch off her number one bucket list item, sort of.

Alisa had been hoping for kiss from Channing, but had to settle instead for internet smooch via video post.

According to Today, the video uploaded to her Facebook page, also shows the actor performing an off-the-cuff rendition of top 40 hit:

"A video uploaded to the page earlier this month shows Tatum delivering his best wishes to the girl. Wearing a hat and a hoodie, the actor says in his hand-held recording.

"'Alisa, hello my love, we're just here, just want to give you a big old kiss and say we love you,' the Magic Mike star says before breaking into an impromptu version of the Pharrell Williams song 'Happy.'"

Meanwhile, Alex Pettyfer has signed break record and boundaries by playing a homosexual action hero claims FansShare:

"[Pettyfer] has been signed by Lee Daniels, the director of The Butler to star in the role and his co-star is going to be an African-American actor that Lee Daniels is still on the search for.

"Never before has there been a gay action hero let alone one who has an interracial relationship and Lee Daniels, a director who made 100 million dollars in his last film might be one of the few directors who has the clout to bring this film to movie screens."

And you thought Magic Mike was racy.
