Billboard Charts Top 5 Classical Music Albums

The Billboard charts for classical music albums are topped by female performers with for the tail end of October with the biggest jumpers on the chart coming from a well know Chinese pianist.

The top five chart toppers in classical music on Billboard.com are:

Jackie Evancho is at the No.1 spot with her album "Songs From The Silver Screen." The 12-year-old is beating out the likes of Andrea Bocelli and Lang Lang with her collection of twelve songs that see her cover tunes like "Pure Imagination," from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory."

Behind the young Evancho at No. 2 is The Piano Guys with their self entitled album "The Piano Guys." This YouTube sensation band came to prominence with their videos on the social media site. The group consist of members Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Tel Stewart, Paul and Al van der Beek.

At No. 3  is violinist Lindsey Stirling with herself entitled album "Lindsey Stirling." The album has 12 tracks and and like The Piano Guys she to used YouTube as a means of promoting her career.

The writer of "Fifty Shades Of Grey," E.L. James has compiled songs to go along with her book. At No. 4 is "Fifty Shades Of Grey: The Classical Album," the piece includes the works of Debussy and Chopin and were the songs were handpicked by James herself.

Rounding out the top five classical music albums for this week is Tori Amos and her album "Gold Dust," a 14 track compilation. This is the 13th solo album the American has produced.
