Hugh Jackman Sings ‘Wolverine Musical’ After Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel ‘Les Mis’ Duet [VIDEO]
Now that the lights have gone out on the musical, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, there is need for singing and dancing superheroes. Now Hugh Jackman is here to save the day. Everyone’s favorite X-Man has both adamantium claws and jazz hands In Wolverine: The Musical. The actor recently performed a rendition of "Who Am I?” from Les Miserables, with a Wolverine twist. Speaking of Les Mis, How I Met Your Mother’s Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel broke out into a rendition of “Confrontation,” during a cast interview on Inside the Actors Studio.
There is no shortage of singing and dancing super heroes. Cyclops’ James Marsden, Night Crawler’s Alan Cummings, Catwoman’s Michelle Pfeiffer, and the list goes on and on. However, Hugh Jackman has to be the best. The Wolverine actor has a well known love affair with musical theater.
Jackman recently starred in the highly acclaimed hit musical film, Les Miserables. Now he is starring in Wolverine The Musical….sort of. During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, Jackman performed a special Wolverine-themed version of "Who Am I?” from Les Miserables.
Speaking of Les Mis, Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel from the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother, have been known to break out into song. During a recent cast interview on Inside the Actors Studio, the pair reprised their 2006 rendition of “The Confrontation.”
Harris is currently starring in the Broadway debut, of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
The series finale of How I Met Your Mother airs tonight at 8:00 on CBS. X-Men: Days of Future Past comes out on May 23.
