Lady Gaga Wants To Do A Jazz Album?

The multi-talented pop star Lady Gaga has been rumored to want to do a jazz album this according to website globalgrind.com.

Lady Gaga who is currently doing her "Born This Way Ball," tour that started in April of 2012 and wraps up in March 2013 hinted at a possible jazz album.

The singer who has an album entitled ARTPOP slated for next year. In an interview conducted by the Time jazz legend Tony Bennett said that he and Lady Gaga may come out with a jazz album together.

"Lady Gaga called me from Australia and she said, I want to do a jazz album with you. So we're going to be doing it with Marion Evans, the great orchestrator. We're going to have a big swinging album," said Bennett.

The Astoria, New York native worked with another contemporary controversial songstress in the past, Amy Winehouse collaborated with the singer just before she died in 2011. The duo covered a song called "Body and Soul," an originally sang by Coleman Hawkins and reached the summits of the billboard charts.

When the tune reached the #87 spot on the chart it made Tony Bennett the oldest living artist on the top 100 charts. Winehouse did not live to see the songs popularity on the world stage. They recorded the song on March. 23, 2011.

Lady Gaga has been trained in classical music at a young age and even enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of the Artsat one point before opting to focus on her music career. As for a jazz background Gaga's talents in that genre are unknown.
