Looks like all of those rumors that say Tom Cruise, the world's most famous Scientology member, is gay are totally false. In fact, one tabloid is claiming that Tom could be dating Elizabeth Moss. Fellow Scientologist John Travolta appears to be recovering from his recent PR disasters.
The world's least reputable source for news, The Enquirer, is reporting that Mad Men's own Elizabeth Moss is up for the role of Tom Cruise's girlfriend. A fellow celebrity Scientologist seems the perfect fit, as the gossip rag reports (via Celebitchy):
"A union between the Mission: Impossible hunk, 51, and 31-year-old Moss, who's also a Scientologist, would likely please Church of Scientology officials. 'Friends think it would be great for both of them - and Scientology,' said an insider. According to the source, church leaders would probably 'be delighted to have their leading member become involved with another celebrity Scientologist.' By all indications, Tom and Elisabeth - called Lizzie by friends - would make an ideal high-profile couple."
Whether or not the rumors are true, Tom should have no problem finding a woman. After all, John Travolta has been happily married for quite some time, despite his recent round of PR nightmares.
The last of which, however, was quite endearing, when he mis-pronounced Idina Menzel's name at an award ceremony. Since then, he's been spotted out and about, as E! News reports:
"Travolta has resurfaced since the buzzed-about incident when he hit the red carpet for the Silver Springs International Film Festival with wife Kelly Preston. The star flashed his pearly whites with a big smile while rocking an all-black outfit and showing off a fairly new look with his goatee."
