Paula Patton and Cheating Robin Thicke Divorce Split: Not Back Together; Not Welcome at JUNO Awards

It seems the jury is still out on whether Paula Patton and her cheating Canadian husband Robin Thicke will make their split official by legally filing for divorce or ultimately just get back together. It's also anyone's guess if Robin backed out of his Juno Awards scheduled appearance due to legit voice issues, or is he backed out because of the online petition that asked that Robin be banned for his promotion of "rape culture" and delight in publicly "degrading women." What is clear, is Robin's having the time of his life.

Paula Patton is reportedly still considering whether or not she would be willing to forgive Robin Thicke for his philandering.

According to TMZ, a source close to Patton reports that Paula hasn't been swayed by Robin's public apologies or promises:

"Robin has not been convincing enough for her to bring him back into her life.

"We're told Paula is saying the same thing she's said since she threw in the towel late last month--that he needs to prove he can be a good husband.

"She's spending a lot of time thinking but she has absolutely not decided to give the marriage another try."

And no wonder Paula isn't convinced. With Robin making statements to MTV about how happy he was during this period of estrangement from his wife, who would be:

"Everything about this moment in my life--this amazing year I just had and what I'm going through personally-has actually ignited some of the best writing I've done in a long time.

"My music is very honest about what I'm going through and my songs are about my life.

"We're both very happy right now--much happier."

Even if Robin does win Paula back, he still has some work to do with the rest of the women of Canda, or at least some of them.

A petition has been started online to keep Thicke from being allowed to attend the Juno awards due to his glorification of the subjugation of the female gender:

"Robin Thicke has also demonstrated contempt for women in his interviews...Thicke agreed that his music video--in which women parade around clad only in nude thongs and posing in compromising positions--is degrading to women.

"He states, 'we tried to do everything that was taboo. Bestiality, drug injections, and everything that is completely derogatory towards women...What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman. I've never gotten to do that before.'

"His comments signal that degrading women is fun, funny and totally acceptable."

Crazy enough the public shaming seems to have worked; Robin pulled out of his scheduled appearance at the Juno's siting, "mandatory vocal rest"--wink--wink.

Perhaps Paula should just start an online petition to get Thicke out of her life--they're apparently marvelously affective.
