Showing some Facebook love to a group of users who like nothing more than posting pictures of records, cassettes, CDs and even some 8-tracks as they listen, Classicalite recommends you get in on the action while it's still young.
The Now Playing Facebook group has grown into a 500-strong community. The format is more or less unregulated (see below), the content unlimited and the amount of listening and posting is completely up to you.
Marc Masters, the de facto admin of the group, explains in the page's "About" section...
So, I like to post pics of my LPs/tapes/CDs when I'm playing them and I like to see other people do the same...so I made a FB group for it. Post pictures here if you feel like it!
Here are a couple loose guidelines which I promise not to be fascist about:
I prefer pictures being posted, as opposed to links, YouTubes, streams, etc.
I prefer pictures of physical records, as opposed to pictures of computer or phone screens.
I prefer pictures that also show the record/cd/cassette playing, but that's not always easy so don't let that deter you.
But mostly I prefer fun! So post whatever you want!
