This Sunday there will be a very special Teen Beach Movie reunion on Austin & Ally. In the brand new What the What weekend episode, the former Vampire Diaries regular, Grace Phipps is hooking back up with her TBM co-star Ross Lynch.
The Disney Channel is currently holding a special What the What weekend long event. WtW features various Disney Channel stars crossing over to other shows, and playing completely different characters.
In the all WTW episode of Austin & Ally, Teen Beach Movie’s Grace Phipps shakes off her cool rider image and goes full on Diva. Phipps will be playing Brandy Braxton, a stuck up movie star who is cast along Austin.
The official plot synopsis for the new episode, titled "Directors & Divas" reads:
“Dez has a chance to direct a movie that Austin is in; but Austin's co-star, Brandy Braxton, proves to be a problem because she is a high-maintenance actress.”
Phipps is also known for her ten episode run as April Young on hit CW series, The Vampire Diaries. Phipps is rumored to return to the series sometime in the near future.
Before the all new episode you can catch Austin and Ally actess Laura Marano in a special episode of Liv & Maddie. The usually prim and proper Marano will play a wild and crazy wolf-girl on the hit Dove Cameron series. The official plot synopsis for the episode, titled "Howl-a-Rooney," reads:
“Liv learns that the coveted role of Tristan in ‘Space Werewolves’ has been narrowed down to herself and two famous actors.”
Liv & Maddie airs Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. on The Disney Channel. The all new Austin & Ally premieres Sunday at 9:00 p.m.
