Paul Patton and Cheating Robin Thicke Divorce Split: NOT Back Together 'Unusually Thicke' Dad Alan Claims [UPDATE]

Cheating Canadian pop star Robin Thicke is apparently going to need to do more than just dedicate a few songs mid-concert to his spurned bride Paula Patton if he wants to get back together. Robin's dad, sitcom personality Alan Thicke, who is getting his own semi-reality show Unusually Thicke, claims that the couple haven't reconciled yet, but feels sure they will make the right decision.

It has been a month of two since thick-headed Robin Thicke first made a very public mess of his relationship with Paula Patton, and it looks like he has some work to do if he really plans to get his marriage back on track.

Robin's dad Jason Seaver Alan Thicke told USA Today that he thought the kids would probably be able to work it all out, but you won't be seeing it on his new heightened-reality series Unusually Thicke:

"You won't see his drama. You'll see a couple of appearances, cameos by Robin checking up on me.

"Of course, I'm happy to exploit him as much as possible. He's clearly an important part of the family and good enough to participate a little bit.

"I hope whatever they decide to do will make them both happy.

"That's the key thing. You want your kids to be happy.

"They're strong, smart and talented people and they'll make great decisions."

It's hard to say what they smart decision would be for Robin, right now.

Thicke may be a little upset that his wife doesn't want him around anymore, but he told MTV, that despite that fact, he is having the best time of his life:

"Everything about this moment in my life--this amazing year I just had and what I'm going through personally-has actually ignited some of the best writing I've done in a long time.

"We're both very happy right now--much happier."

Let's hope that Paula And Robin work something out, before they break dear ole Alan's heart.
