The Syfy Channel's surprise hit series Defiance is gearing up to return with all new episodes. The Season 2 premiere date is just around the corner and the show has recently announced a pretty big addition to the cast. Terminator star Linda Hamilton will be guest starring as Pilar McCawley, the wife of Rafe. If you do not know who that is then you can catch up on Amazon. The website has recently obtained the streaming rights for the first season.

One of the show’s developers Kevin Murphy spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the addition of Hamilton:
“Her character will simultaneously make you cry and scare the crap out of you.”
Actress Julie Benz also added, “I think my response was … ‘Holy s**t. How the f**k did we get her’?”
Defiance returns to TV, Thursday, June 19 at 8:00 p.m. on Syfy.
