When it comes to the stars of Twilight, rumors are always flying. Now claims suggest that Robert Pattinson is dating new girlfriend Katy Perry. This latest round of speculation comes after the two went through very public breakups with Kristen Stewart and John Mayer, respectively.
It would appear that Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson may be more than just good friends. The two have been spotted getting cozy at Coachella, but that's not all.
According to one source who spoke with The Sun, their romance has been a long time in the making (via The Hollywood Gossip):
"Katy and Rob are the best of friends with a very strong sexual chemistry. They care a lot about each other but have always been careful not to upset Kristen. But Kristen's off doing her own thing and accepting it's time to move on. Katy and Rob have been hanging out all weekend and making plans for Easter, too...Friends genuinely want to see them get it together properly."
These aren't the only rumors flying about Robert Pattinson. Gossip site Celebrity Dirty Laundry is reporting that Rob may already be dating Katy Perry, following his high profile split from K Stew:
"Now that Rob is finally single after so many years, what does that mean for his friendship with Katy? Katy's single, Rob's single - is it time for the two to resume their, ahem, relationship? OK! Magazine claims that Rob and Katy have always had a very flirtatious relationship, and Katy apparently joked, that Rob would make an excellent revenge hookup!' And now, Rob and Katy have reportedly reverted to their previous friends with benefits relationship."
From previous reports, however, it seemed like Rob could have dated Katy at the same time he was dating Kristin. A recent report by Radar Online suggests that Rob and K Stew had an open relationship:
"When they were officially dating, they always had a policy of 100 percent honesty, which did create issues. Robert was always very frank about his flings with other women and that worked for Kristen too. They had an open relationship and it's amazing that Kristen hasn't revealed this info when she was being painted as a 'jezebel'. Rob has had other women on the side and Kristen has had other women and men as well."
