Charlize Theron and Sean Penn aren't engaged just yet, but friends believe they're going to make the transition from dating any day now. Rumor has it that they are still adopting a baby from Haiti together, however. Charlie's co-star in Mad Max: Fury Road Tom Hardy recently explained their on-set feud to Esquire.
Charlie Theron and Sean Penn are reportedly making plans for their future together, but a source tells People the couple aren't engaged--for now:
"[I] wouldn't be surprised...But she's not engaged--yet."
Rumor has it that Charlize and Sean are still going ahead with adopting a Haitian orphan.
An insider told OK! that the Hollywood couple were looking to have the deal sealed by the end of 2014:
"Charlize was an only child and always wished she had a brother or sister...[So] it's important to her that Jackson have a brother or sister.
"They hope to adopt by the end of the year."
It was recently reported by beacon-of-truth Perez Hilton that Theron and Inception star Tom Hardy didn't get along at all, while on the set in 2012 of Mad Max: Fury Road:
"Charlize and Tom are just not getting on together. Professionally, they are doing a wonderful job, but in-between takes Tom likes to stay in character and is constantly talking to himself and mumbling things.
"Charlize has tried to talk to him during breaks in filming but he shuts himself off from the rest of the cast."
"She has the ability to switch off when she's not filming, and can immediately turn into her character as soon the camera's rolling.
"Charlize thinks he's a weirdo!"
Tom told Esquire this month those comments were upsetting, because he loved Charlize (via Daily Mail):
"That's disappointing. I think she is f---king awesome. I think she's incredible. I think she's one of the most talented actresses of our generation.
"But it's very interesting, the concept of what danger is, and this has nothing to do with Charlize of Mad Max, actually, but this has to do with life in general.'
No doubt it was that kind of crazy ramblings that convinced Theron, and probably most folks, that Hardy is a bit of a weirdo.
If you want to make friends with a gril you don't mumble to your self on the job, and then tell everyone else in the world how you're really in love with her.
