Spoiler Alert: Twilight star Taylor Lautner's new girlfriend Marie Avgeropoulos might soon outshine him. The actress is one of the stars of the hit CW series, The 100. The show is a shoe in to be renewed, meaning the entire ensemble are about to be big stars. Check the new episode preview below to see just what the cast have in store for you tonight.
It is that time of year where we find out what TV show’s are being renewed and canceled. TV By The Numbers is predicting that The 100 will see a second season. However, before we get ahead of ourselves, there are still a few more episodes left in Season 1. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “His Sister’s Keeper,” reads:
“Bellamy and his crew search for Octavia. Meanwhile, Raven notices a connection between Finn and Clarke.”
The title of tonight’s episode suggest that the episode will be all about the siblings Octavia and Bellamy. Octavia actress Marie Avgeropoulos recently spoke with KSITETV about just what makes her character so special:
"Octavia's crime was being born. In The 100, the show in general, you're only allowed to have one child on the Ark because you're dealing with population control. There's very limited resources. So, since I was the second child born of two--and I'm the only one with a sibling, which is kind of cool--as soon as I was born, my mother had to keep me hidden under the floorboards in our very tiny cell-like living quarters. As soon as I was discovered, they floated and executed her, and put me into jail. So, literally her entire life, Octavia has been locked up until she got to take that very first step on the Earth."
Being a second child, Octavia has the only brother out of any one from the ark. She went on to discuss her unique relationship with her brother Bellamy:
"Bellamy is very protective of Octavia, because he literally delivered me when he was a very, very young boy. Imagine how shocking and extreme that would be, for a kid to do that. But as soon as my mother handed me to him, she told him 'this is your responsibility.' So he has a very protective nature over me, but naturally, since Octavia's been locked up under the floor, concealed like a caged animal, and then thrown into a prison, now that she's on Earth she's like 'Hey. I'm free. I can do whatever I want now, so can you lighten up?' And there's a lot of back and forth and push and pull that goes with that."
The 100 is all new tonight at 9:00 p.m on The CW.
