Season 8 of Bravo's Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis and company is shaping up to be the best yet. Not only are there babies being born and food fights being staged, best yet is Lewis ability to talk candidly about any topic--including celebrating the loss of virginity. Spoliers: Word has it that Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best, has made a move of Lewis house flipping territory, but wound up losing money in the flip-off challenge.
Bravo's Season 8 Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis can't help what comes out of his mouth, and it's all his parents fault.
The Los Angeles based renovator told Zap2it that growing up with his family, there was not such things as topic that too hot button to talk about--even teenage sex:
"It's hard for me to censor myself because I didn't grow up that way. There was never a topic that was considered taboo.
"When my brother lost his virginity, we were all just sitting around in the house watching TV and my brother just came in and said 'I got laid!'
"That's just the kind of family I grew up with--and we were all happy for him."
It doubtful Jeff was so forward thinking when he found out that a fellow reality TV star Todd Chrisley was making a move into his house flipping territory.
Word has it that Chrisley Knows Best repressed father figure tried to flip a single house in Pacific Palisades, California, because he was absolutely in love with the home's former owner (via LaLate):
"Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best tried to flip a house in the same neighborhood that Jeff Lewis of Flipping Out has worked on during a previous Bravo season.
"Despite Todd's description, the house sat on the market for ages with no seller. Eventually, 302 days later, the house became a 'bank approved short sale'. The house was listed at $3.5 million and eventually was price dropped to $3.15 million. Zillow claims that the sale price was a loss for Todd."
Uh-oh...sound like Todd Chrisely needs to go back to what he's good--pretending to enjoy making love to his wife.
