Meteorologist are saying that another storm is likely on the way for the East Coast region of the United States, this coming just after Hurricane Sandy laid waste to New York and New Jersey.
According to Yahoo News a "wintry and messy," storm may be heading towards the area. Experts say however that its six days out and it is too early for major concern also adding that the forecast is set to change these up coming days.
A nor'easter was said to be possible for the mid Atlantic and New England. Experts are saying with this type of storm winter conditions would worsen and all tracking reports of the system indicate that it isn't as bad as Hurricane Sandy.
The storm could bring with it very high winds, snow and moderate to heavy rainfall. A long-range notice for this possible disaster was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg earlier in the week blamed climate change for the occurrence of Hurricane Sandy and threw his weight behind President Barack Obama for reelection and this new potentially dangerous storm will again catch his attention.
"Our climate is changing and while the increase in extreme weather we have experienced in New York City and around the world may or may not be the result of it, the risk that it might be - given this week's devastation - should compel all elected leaders to take immediate action," According to Bloomberg.
President Obama added. "While we may not agree on every issue, Mayor Bloomberg and I agree on the most important issues of our time...climate change is a threat to our children's future, and we owe it to them to do something about it."
