Grey's Anatomy Season 10 finale is set to be a humdinger, with Isaiah Washington's fateful return and Sandra Oh's Christina Yang even possibly being murdered by terrorists. That is if Washington doesn't get fired again by Grey's and Scandal's showrunner Shonda Rimes first. Spoilers: Isaiah has been reportedly calling little children ugly names on Twitter.
We have been assured by series creator Shonda Rimes that Sandra Oh's departure from the show, after spending a decade playing Christina Yang, will be handled with the appropriate gravitas.
The controversial Isaiah Washington is even set to make a series reappearance at Seattle Grace Sloan Grey Mermorial Hospital, but only if he isn't terminated for his bad behavior, before they can shoot the finale.
After some fans of Grey's Anatomy got in a war of words with Washington over his being allowed to return, he blasted back on Twitter:
"@valy107 You're an idiot, and I'm sure your parents are not aware of the profound ignorance and hate you represent. #Fail"
When concerned followers let Shonda Rimes know about Washington vitriol she took the actor's back:
"Question: Is he being horrible to actual lovely wonderful FANS?" she asked. "Or is he just being mean to people who are mean to him?"
But when one very informed Twitterite let Shonda know that Washington's comment about parents was especially biting, since most of his comments were directed towards kids--Shonda seemed upset:
"@d1sappo1nt WOW! I didn't know that! Thank you. That's really good info to have. I don't know if most of us know that you all are teenagers!"
Everyone is going to be upset when Sandra Oh makes her finale exit from the series.
According to the episode synopsis obtained by Wet Paint, Christina's exit may literally be explosive:
"In the Season 10 finale, the doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital bid an emotional farewell to the beloved Cristina Yang. A possible act of terrorism rocks Seattle and causes chaos at the hospital."
One report coming from IBTimes suggests that Yang may even be blown to pieces by an IED:
"Meanwhile, another theory hints that Cristina will be involved in a car accident that will cause her death.
"The episode is also said to feature a car bomb."
Well...that certainly would make an impact.
