2014 Season 10 Bachelorette is going to be known for the events that happened away from the show instead of all the dating drama, perhaps for the first time in its history. Spoilers: Andi Dorfman first one-on-one date recipient, contestant Eric Hill died yesterday is a tragic paragliding accident following his being previously dismissed by Dorfman. Last season Bachelor Juan Pablo is rumored to be in a rage over Andi's very insulting Bachelorette promo poster.
It was tragically reported this morning that after days of being in a coma following his parachute's mid-flight collapse, Season 10 Bachelorette suitor Eric Hill has passed away.
Eric Hill died seeking thrills and seeing the world in a way that few of us will ever get to; the world wide traveler's unique way of looking at the people was both heartwarming and inspirational (via Us Weekly):
"I remember wanting to see every country in the world since I was in kindergarten.
"Of course there is sadness and injustice in the world, but I want to focus on the good...the awesomeness that exists in every country I visit."
A friend of Juan Pablo's told E! that Galavis got ABC's racist promo poster pun, and the retired pro-soccer player thinks it's in pretty poor taste:
"He's embarrassed...He feels used.
"He's feeling very misunderstood right now...He's still claiming he had no idea what he was getting into when he signed on to do The Bachelor.
"He really wants to clear up all the misconceptions about him.
"He doesn't like being the butt of a joke."
Well...Juan Pablo is just going to have to get use to it.
