Jessica Simpson is afraid that her mom Tina's upcoming tell-all book will officially out their dad Joe as gay. The aging party boy is reportedly looking to plastic surgeries to revitalize his look before his daughters' big weddings. Jessica and Ashlee's fiancés, Eric Johnson and Evan Ross respectively, reportedly hate each other--effectively ruling out any chance of joint weddings.
Jessica Simpson is somehow reportedly still convinced that the entire planet does not fully realize that her father Joe is a semi-closeted homosexual, but she is scared stiff that her mom's new book will rectify that particular situation.
Jessica's mom Tina is apparently letting the cat out of the bag in via her very cathartic and revealing memoir that she's penning; Star magazine got word from an insider that Mama Simpson was ready to, at least, set the record straight (via Celeb Dirty Laundry):
"According to a friend, Tina is still angry about the divorce, especially now that Joe is gallivanting around with young men.
"Plus, Tina finds it therapeutic to write about her marriage. She needs closure, and this book seems to be helping her achieve it."
Joe is reportedly letting the surgeons work out all his demons for him.
A friend of the family told Star that ole Joe was looking to have the proverbial clock turned back before his daughters' big days:
"He tells people that his daughters get their good looks form him, and he hates getting older.
"[Joe] is looking to have the surgery before Jessica and Ashlee get married."
It is starting to look like the Simpson girls may not be able to invite each other to their own wedding, if their soon-to-be husbands don't work out their bull mess.
A secret source tells OK! that it is a classic case of opposites repel:
"[They] don't get along at all.
"Eric thinks Evan is a mama's boy, and Evan thinks Eric's a dumb jock."
These people are starting to make the Jacksons look like a functional, loving family.
