The Boxer: Domestic Dispute Lands Paul Simon and 20-Year-Long Spouse Edie Brickell Behind Bars for Disorderly Conduct

It seems out-of-character for Paul Simon to lose his temper.

But a domestic disagreement last Saturday between him and his wife, Edie Brickell, got so out of handthat the authorities were called to their home in Connecticut.

The couple was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Per Norman Lebrecht, the pair have been married for 20 years and have three children.

There's not much in the way of Paul Simon to indicate ill-temper--or even any problem in containing himself.

Though a report claims the singer's home phone dialed 911 and hung up. Police responding to the call said minor injuries were found but withheld any information regarding who was harmed.

Lawyer Allan Cramer, who represents both singers', claimed that the dispute was more or less a random act of aggression.

Simon, as you may know, is a Rock Hall of Famer and 12-grammy winner. His wife found major success with her 1988 hit "What I Am."

The pair was released Monday and plan on keeping it strictly in the family, as Paul Simon probably wouldn't do well behind bars.
