Twitter devotee Avril Lavigne and her Nickelback hubby Chad Kroeger are reportedly ready for divorce, despite having been married for less than a year. Cheating has apparently been a problem for the pair in the past, and the "Sk8er Boi" puik singer has reportedly ditched her wedding ring and her man. Rumor has it Avy split because she couldn't trust her frontman's fidelity.
Post-punk poser Avril Lavigne and her equally vapid husband Chad Kroeger, of the dreaded band Nickelback, are reportedly having serious problems trusting each another--at least one of them does.
According to OK! Avril and Chad's history is getting in the way of their future:
"The singer was photographed in L.A. without her engagement ring. Avril and Chad Kroeger haven't been married a year, but an insider says they can't trust each other.
"The friend says it's too emotional for Avril to look at her ring."
They couple had only just been married when they gave an interview to People that sounded like they can't trust one another without being in constant contact:
Avril: "We don't spend more than two weeks apart. Chad's been really supportive and coming out with me [to South Africa]...We want to protect what we have."
Chad: "We don't drink when we're apart...Ever. Even if we're apart for weeks.
"We don't want to go anywhere that you're asking for trouble... "I don't want to be in Europe texting her, like 'Where are you?'
"For us, true happiness is when we're both together and in our own bed."
That would seem a whole lot more romantic if you didn't know that they weren't allowed to leave the bed unless they are holding hands.
