Total Solar Eclipse For Parts of Australia on Tuesday, (LIVE STREAM)

The rare event a total solar eclipse will be visible in the earth's sky come Tuseday if you live in certain parts of  Australasia according to Yahoo.

The eclipse that will be on Nov. 14 at 3:35 p.m. local time and will be visible only in minute parts of northern Australia and the Open Sea just beyond that coast while for those living on the other side of the planet it will be on Nov. 13.

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and earth, and the moon fully or partially blocks the sun. This can happen only at new moon, when the sun and the moon are in conjunction as seen from earth. In a total eclipse, the disk of the sun is fully obscured by the moon. In partial and annular eclipses only part of the Sun is obscured.

The path of totality for this solar eclipse according to experts will be 108 miles wide and will pass across 9000 miles over a three hour period with most of the path pulling over the South Pacific Ocean.

This remote location has prompted a number of organizations to stream the cosmic event on the web. The Slooh Space Camera is one of those facilitators. They will begin their live feed from Cairns, Queensland, Australia at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and said that the eclipse will start around sunrise and went on to say it will be a memorable event.

"We are ecstatic to have a world-class team on-site in Cairns bringing the power and beauty of this spectacular event live to our worldwide audience. We are ramped up and ready to go to handle millions of viewers," said Slooh president Patrick Paolucci.

Experts have warned anyone who could watch the event live to not look into the eclipse directly during this process with the naked eye, telescopes or binoculars without proper filters and say standard sunglasses will not offer sufficient protection.
