Billboard Chart Topper Jake Shimabukuro Tours U.S. Additional Dates Confirmed

One of the most amazing acts coming out of America let alone Hawaii, Jake Shimabukuro and will be bringing his ukulele all across the United States as he tours the nation in 2013.

The Ukulele player has dubbed it the "Grand Ukulele Tour 2013" an event that will see Shimabukuro traverse what seems to be the entire coast of the United States.

The tour that he is currently embarking on will see him play well into September with the next date set for Nov. 15 in Phoenix Arizona at the Musical Instrument Museum.

The man that the NY Post called "stunning to watch," will be in Tucson Arizona on Nov. 18 at the Rialto Theatre, while Nov. 17 will see at the Pioneer Center in Reno, Nevada.

The Hawaiian will then be in Las Vegas at Artemus Ham Hall/UNLV Performing Arts Center on Nov. 18. On Nov. 24 the ukulele player will be back on home soil when he plays in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Hawaii Theater.

The E. J. Thomas Hall in the University of Akron in Ohio will see him there on Nov. 26. Munhall, Pennsylvania will welcome Shimabukuro on Nov. 27 at Carnegie Library Music Hall.

Nov. 28 he will be at the Sunoco Performance Theater in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania before he heads to the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts in Storrs, Connecticut.

Billboard topping Shimabukuro will be playing at the Skirball Center at NYU in New York, New York on Nov. 30 while beginning in December he will be at the Calvin Theatre Northampton, Massachusetts on Dec.1.

On Dec. 2 the artist will be in Syracuse, New York at the Westcott Theater and on Dec. 13 and 14 Shimabukuro will be in Japan Showa Women's University- Hitomi Memorial Hall to round off the year.

Jake Shimabukuro was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on Nov. 3, 1976 and is a fifth generation Japanese-American he was introduced to the ukulele by his mother at age four. His musical career began as a part of a trio called "Pure Heart," where he made his name. To this date the Hawaiian has 11 studio albums.

The artist plays a custom made four string tenor ukulele.
