Sherri Shepherd 2014 Divorce: Baby Custody Breakup Trial After Elisabeth Hasselbeck Reunion

Sherri Shepherd is getting yet another divorce in 2014. According to reports, the host/actress will be seeking custody of their currently unborn baby. These latest claims come after she reunited with co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on a special reunion show of The View.

Things are not going great for Sherri Shepherd. Her estranged husband Lamar Sally recently filed for divorce. To make matters worse, Sherri's husband is reportedly suing for full custody of their unborn child. The couple is using a surrogate mother for their first child together, as Hollywood Life reports:

"However, the L.A. Superior Court documents also revealed that the couple are expecting a baby boy on July 28, according to People, who will be named Lamar Sally Jr. and that Lamar wants full legal and physical custody once the baby is born from the surrogate mother."

Sherri isn't just fighting for custody, she's also fighting to protect her son Jeffrey, whom she had in a previous marriage, from the negative press that stems from a high-profile split. One source told Hollywood Life that Jeffrey is her whole reason for living:

"She's trying to protect her little boy, Jeffrey. That's her world now and to whom she owes everything...She wants to protect him from all the scrutiny that's coming along with having a having a public break-up."

At least there was some good news for Sherri. She recently got to reunite with some of her fellow View co-hosts and friends, including Elisabeth Hasselbeck, as The Wrap reports:

"For the first time on television, all 11 past and present co-hosts of ABC's The View came together to bid farewell to Barbara Walters. Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O'Donnell shared the stage for the first time since their highly publicized fight in 2007. 'Please welcome back - I love them all! Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos, Joy Behar, Lisa Ling, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Rosie O'Donnell!' Walters announced."
