Prince Harry, who was once rumored to be engaged, may be thinking about dating ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. This latest news follows his high-profile breakup with girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
The Guardian was among the first to report on the untimely breakup of Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas. After months of engagement rumors and speculation of another royal wedding, the publication reports that the two have split:
"Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas have split up following a two year relationship which had been the focus of increasing speculation recently that the fourth in line to the throne would soon be getting engaged. The pair were said to have ended their relationship amicably which suggested that one of the reasons for the split was so that the 25-year-old performing arts graduate could concentrate on her career."
Since the breakup, numerous reports have suggested that Prince Harry might be pursuing his ex, Chelsy Davy. The latest of these reports come from the UK's Express, who recounts a recent encounter Prince Harry had with a fellow war buddy:
"[After recognizing his old friend] Prince Harry said to Captain Tarlap: 'I was trying to explain the reason why we became friends, because you had the internet, the computer, do you remember?'
"The officer smiled and said: 'So you could email your girlfriend.'
"At the time the Prince was enjoying an on-off romance with Chelsy Davy."
Of course, this isn't the first report we've seen to suggest that Prince Harry still has Chelsy on his mind. Last week's OK! Magazine reported that Prince Harry never got over Chelsy, quoting a source as revealing:
"Chelsy is the love of [Prince Harry's] life. Harry would do anything to get Chelsy back, even though he knows that she is in a serious relationship with someone else."
The relationship referenced is one Chelsy shares with Charles Goode, a famous jeweler. The two are so in love, engagement rumors are already circulating. But according to the same source, Harry's not letting that slow him down:
"Harry's been urging [Chelsy] to leave Charles, but so far she's not having it. She made it clear that she loves someone else...Harry's a mess right now...He's been bombarding her with texts and phone calls..."
