Jon and Kate Gosselin FIRED After 2014 Arrest, Shooting at Paparazzi Without Twins? [UPDATE]

It turns out that Jon and Kate Gosselin both find themselves fired in 2014. This comes after Jon was caught shooting a gun near a paparazzi member, though his twins weren't present during the unfortunate incident. At least Jon managed to not get arrested, unlike his ex, who also finds herself in the news.

Back in 2013 it was revealed that Jon Gosselin has been waiting tables following the cancellation of his onetime hit show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. But it turns out he is just as bad at working as he is raising children, as Radar Online reports:

"Jon was fired for blowing off shifts and coming in late. He had no work ethic and felt he could come and go as he pleased. Jon had the restaurant sign a non-disclosure agreement stating they cannot speak negatively about him. He left the restaurant a few months ago. He's doing sales for some credit card type of company where they help manage credit card swipes for businesses."

Jon also took heat last fall, when he brandished a weapon against a paparazzo. After the photog followed Mr. Gosselin home from work, Jon aggressively pursued the woman.

When he noticed she was taking photos of him, Mr. Gosselin removed a pistol from his pants. According to reports, he then fired a shot to intimidate the female paparazzi member.

Jon may have avoided jail time, but his ex, Kate Major, wasn't so lucky. Hollywood News Daily provides a description of the troubled woman:

"Kate Major is best known along celebrity news followers for being involved with Jon and Kate Plus 8 realty star Jon Gosselin. The two began dating following his highly publicized, and nasty divorce from co-star and wife Kate Gosselin. Major and Gosselin split and Kate moved on to another highly public and turbulent relationship with Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Lohan. Major and Lohan welcomed a son together in 2013."
