Happy birthday Glyndebourne!
Eight decades ago, on May 28, 1934, the famous British opera festival was inaugurated with two Mozart operas.
To mark the occasion, Glyndebourne has released this lovely, nostalgia-drenched image of the poster for that first season.
May the wine glasses clink on their lawns (and sky-high production standards continue inside the opera house) for another 80 years, at least!
